Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Disha platform (disha.in and its subdomains), you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent if under 18), have read and understood these Terms of Service, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the platform on behalf of an institution or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

Disha Education Pvt. Ltd. provides an AI-powered career guidance and education platform including: career counselling, course enrolment, placement assistance, mentorship, psychometric assessments, job matching, and related services. Services are provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time with reasonable notice.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at security@disha.in of any unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk. One person may not maintain more than one free account.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform (profile data, posts, reviews). By submitting content, you grant Disha a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy available at disha.in/refund-policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of premium features. All prices are inclusive of applicable GST.

All content, software, AI models, trademarks, and materials on the Disha platform are the exclusive property of Disha Education Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent. The Disha name, logo, and "Choose The Right Path. Always." tagline are registered trademarks.

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform; (b) use automated bots or scripts to access the platform; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; (e) transmit malware or harmful code; (f) use the platform for any unlawful purpose; (g) harass, abuse, or harm other users; (h) circumvent any access controls or security measures.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Career guidance and AI recommendations are informational only and do not constitute professional advice. Disha is not responsible for employment outcomes, placement results, or decisions made based on platform content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Disha Education Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. We encourage resolution of disputes through our grievance mechanism before initiating legal proceedings. Grievances may be submitted to grievance@disha.in.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
